While I’m not Indian, I’ve been working with Indian families for years, and I’ve become extremely familiar with the traditions and customs that make Indian weddings so phenomenal to capture. Whether it’s a Sikh wedding or Hindu wedding, I’ve become adept at capturing all of the elements to create the most compelling story.
The colors are especially vibrant with Indian weddings. The way I use light is extremely important in order to highlight these colors and make sure that the spectacular outfits are a point of focus, along with the abundance of incredible moments throughout the day.
I’ve literally fallen in love with photographing Indian weddings. Since most are spread out over a few days, I’m able to really sink my teeth into the storyline, and dive deep into the family dynamics, and it allows me to really understand what’s important.
