The moments before wedding ceremonies are chock full of emotions. With a combination of anticipation and reaction, it usually yields a few great frames, especially when you can observe the relationship of a bride and her father.
Here’s one from a recent Greek wedding just seconds before they’re about to walk down the aisle. It’s imperative to be as unobtrusive as possible here. With my Nikon Z6, I have silent mode programmed into the “my menu” section, so it’s a quick transition to go silent. That, along with my Nikkor 105 F1.4, allows me to keep some distance and give the clients space and privacy during these sensitive moments.
