This image of Stephanie and Michael was taken at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Philadelphia, shortly after their wedding ceremony. The photo was lit with all natural lighting, and was shot with my Nikon D5, my Nikkor 105mm F1.4E ED lens.
After the church photos, we had the chance to shoot in various locations around Philadelphia and found our way back to the Ritz-Carlton for the cocktail hour and reception.
Anytime I have the opportunity to shoot at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia, I’ve also taken a moment to bring the couple outside for a photo in the evening with City Hall as a background. Its drama is unparalleled within the city, as the Avenue of the Arts lights up with stunning colors, and the cars and pedestrians yell "congratulations" as they pass.
