Talk about proactive: this couple knocked out a sunrise engagement session before heading off to work! Not many clients prefer the early morning hours for a photographic session and we were impressed with this couples “get up and go” perspective. Shooting in the morning also promised very little pedestrians and certainly no crowds common with prime time beach hours. Critical to this particular session was capitalizing upon the ever changing light, as the sun breached the waves casting colors of pink, purples, reds and ultimately a golden wash to the shoreline. Every moment meant the light shifted ever so slightly. With her pale blue gaussian gown, the bride to be wasn’t remiss about trailing the ebbing waves or traversing the rocks for a few shots. We can’t wait to work with them on their December wedding next year, though we highly doubt it will involve taking a dip in the ocean!
