Danielle and Kenneth had an absolutely gorgeous September afternoon for their wedding at Holly Hedge. They’re both actors and were able to hand me photo after photo with their incredible body awareness. It didn’t hurt that they were both gorgeous people, and their chemistry with one another shined in every photograph I took of them. Here, in this image, Dani is getting ready with her mom in the old barn.
My philosophy regarding the "getting ready" portion of the day is to set the stage for moments, but never stage the moments. I simply find the light, put my clients in that light, and then have them do what they’d normally do. In this case, Dani and her mom were just laughing the entire time, and it allowed me to just shoot so many lovely photos that it was hard to choose the keepers.
